The human-rights lawyer headed to work yesterday at the United Nations’ New York City headquarters, where she met with UN Secretary-General António Guterres and activist Nadia Murad, goodwill ambassador for the UN Office on Drugs and Crime.
For the meeting, Clooney looked elegant in a sleeveless emerald-green midi dress with a long flowing column skirt. She let the bright dress do most of the talking by layering it underneath neutral-colored outerwear—namely, a creamy white double-breasted trench coat with tortoiseshell buttons, a sleek lapel, and buckle details on the arm cuffs. To finish off the look, the barrister added a pair of beige-and-brown snakeskin pumps, a spacious black tote bag, and diamond stud earrings.
